Born Golab Mosta'an, Golab Adineh holds a degree in Political Economics from Iran's Shahid Beheshti University.

She began theater acting in 1975 as a student in a troupe formed by Mehdi Hashemi and Dariush Farhang, and also appeared in many plays.

Directed by Marjan Ashrafizadeh, ‘The Sis’ competed with 15 other films from China, Canada, France, Australia, Finland and Georgia.

Founded in 2011, the Beijing International Film Festival takes its namesake from the large Chinese city.

Since it was launched, the festival has been actively attended by Hollywood executives, directors, producers and studio heads.
